Programs: INCIDENT COMMAND KEYNOTE Critical Deadlines. Circumstances beyond your control. Changes in market conditions. Gotta - act - now opportunities. These are everyday occurrences in the business world (and in life!), and whether we like it or not, all of us spend at least a portion of our work week "fighting fires". In the incident command keynote, our flashover team of experienced firefighters will teach you how to effectively fight your every day fires using the same critical approach we apply to fighting actual structure fires. "Extreme Teamwork" is also emphasized as a critical factor for success. Real world business examples, entertaining stories, and dramatic firefighting footage serve to illustrate this easily applied and universal incident command model, and attendees will leave armed with the tools they need to become more effective managers, more confident leaders, and better teambuilders in today's high performance, fast-paced business environment. EXTREME TEAMWORK KEYNOTE The Extreme Teams keynote was conceived from an article in Fast Company Magazine in which Robyn Benincasa's Adventure Racing team was one of the high level organizations profiled as a model for extreme team performance in highly time critical and intense business environments. The parallels drawn and the lessons therein are the basis for the extreme teams keynote in which Robyn utilizes gripping adventure footage and humorous stories from her team's successes in both adventure racing and firefighting to illustrate the 8 essential factors for success in high performance teams. Attendees will experience an emotional gamut from fear to awe to laughter during this 1 - 1 1/2 hour presentation and will leave with the inspiration and wisdom to build their own successful extreme teams. HALF DAY SEMINAR The Flashover experience is a cutting edge journey into the "Extreme Teamwork" and "High Performance Leadership" necessary for success in today's fast-paced and time critical business environment -- led by the professionals who epitomize the term "performance under pressure", America's firefighters. The Flashover Seminar (2 - 4 Hours) In our signature Flashover Seminars, real firefighters teach your employees how to handle their every day "business fires"-- using the same model employed for fighting actual structure fires. "Extreme Teamwork" is also emphasized as a critical factor for success. Hands-on breakout sections follow which allow attendees to apply their new firefighting knowledge and teamwork skills in an engaging, fun, safe environment. The Flashover Seminar includes: An "Incident Command" keynote and up to 3 breakout sessions: Search and Rescue Mission Participants will don real firefighting "turnout" gear and practice their teamwork skills as they search for trapped victims in a smoke-filled room. Will your team rescue the baby? Structure Fire Simulator Participants will be divided into engine companies and will use their wits, creativity and new incident command skills to plan an attack on a living, breathing and ever-changing computer simulated structure fire. Outdoor Firefighter Challenge Participants will use team firefighting tactics and strategies to accomplish a series of fun, engaging, mental and physical challenges designed to create a sense of interdependence, bonding, and trust among the crew.
"In short, your presentation was amazing. You rock! You move the audience emotionally. Your content is powerful, and your energy and ability to be genuine on stage were fabulous. I hope they were all taking notes." --Scott Harris, Trainer, Anthony Robbins Company "We had so much fun with you! Several of our team members said you were the best speaker they had ever heard (my opinion too by the way) and that more in Nestle should hear you! You SO over-delivered both in your speech and in your willingness to spend time with our team. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect message to be delivered at just the right time." --Lisbeth Armentano, Director of Communications & Promotions, Nestle FIREFIGHTER BOOTCAMP: The Firefighter Bootcamp is a fun, fast-paced outdoor teambuilding experience/workout in which attendees form 3-5 person "engine companies" and use team firefighting tactics and strategies to accomplish a series of fun, engaging, mental and physical challenges designed to create a sense of interdependence, bonding and trust among the "crew". The Firefighter Bootcamp is the perfect way to add a 'real world' twist to your event, and is often incorporated as a day-of or day-after 'fun morning workout' for Flashover Keynote or Flashover Seminar attendees. The Firefighter Bootcamp can also be a standalone event for companies that want to add an energizing, fun, and unique experience to their lineup of optional events on attendees' 'free afternoon'. Bye bye golf and spa--hello Firefighter Bootcamp! Which group do you think will have the best stories to tell? OUTDOOR FIREFIGHTER CHALLENGE The Outdoor Firefighter Challenge is a fun, fast-paced outdoor teambuilding experience in which attendees form 4 - 8 person "engine companies" and use team firefighting tactics and strategies to accomplish a series of fun, engaging, mental and physical challenges designed to create a sense of interdependence, bonding, and trust among the "crew". An Outdoor Firefighter Challenge can be held just about anywhere from a hotel grounds to a local park and is a nice, same/day or morning-after follow-up to a Flashover seminar or keynote presentation. |
