Biography: Dr Foo Check Teck, through his own research, created the substantive program, "The Complete Art of War Series" (implemented by Singapore Institute of Management), and is globally regarded as a leading mind on the art of war strategy. He specializes in resolving East-West conflicts in styles of management, and has led many highly successful workshops for CEOs on practical aspects of managing for performance such as evaluating overseas projects in emerging economies, joint venturing strategy and strategic finance. Besides many Asian clients including government agencies, he has been consulted by leading European corporations like Diethelm Industries, Maersk, EAC and others. INSEAD has engaged him to lead workshops in China as part of their team of professors. Recently he was invited by ILO to be consultant to the Vietnamese government on industrial relations strategy for economic development. He initiated workshops for the academic staff on "Excelling in Research: Qualitative and Quantitative" at Nanyang Technological University, one of Asia's leading universities of technology. His published research reflects his current tenured position as Associate Professor of Systems and Engineering Management in the College of Engineering at NTU. |

Programs: To master strategy, a CEO or senior executive must grasp the dynamics of the evolving, often-times rapidly developing global situation. The world is far too inter-connected and small to ground strategy nationally, regionally or on a continental basis. This one-day, in-depth program focuses on the CEO mastering strategy. This program is most appropriate for CEO who wishes to test their perceptions, beliefs, ideas, proposals, project initiatives, plans - whatever that brew in his mind about how to become gain a mastery over strategy. The program will open with a tentative agenda for this "Meeting of Minds of CEOs" (or persons in senior positions). CEOs are encouraged to help shape the agenda before tea-break. He will introduce his unique yet simple invention: a set of Cards on Art of War (credit card size) as a tool for sharpening the CEO mind. Various techniques in using the cards are explained. Once the minds of CEOs are "sharpened", he shall begin his lecture on a series of topical issues focused by elaborating on "The Art of War for Global Strategy". After lunch, Dr CT FOO shall lead the CEOs in discussing on issues as listed on the agenda. Finally he draws upon his most recent research into corporate giants from published literature, Dr FOO Check Teck highlights for the benefit of CEOs very recent, shocking developments.
